Responsibilities
- Sort and grade fruits based on quality and size.
- Pack fruits into designated containers or bags, ensuring proper weight and quantity.
- Inspect fruits for any defects or damages and remove them as necessary.
- Label packed fruits with accurate information such as variety, grade, and expiration date.
- Clean and sanitize work area and packaging equipment regularly to maintain hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries.
Requirements
- Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods and lift heavy loads.
- Previous experience in fruit packing or a similar role is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and accurately.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Basic math skills to accurately count and record quantities.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate varying work hours and weekend shifts.
